Alan B. Georgian, President and Structures DER:
Mr. Georgian graduated from Parks College of St. Louis University in 1978, earning his B.S. in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering. Subsequently, Mr. Georgian has gained over 30 years of experience in aircraft repair and modification engineering. He obtained his Company DER (Structures) at Midcoast Aviation in 1989, and obtained his Consultant DER (Structures) in 1990. During his time at Midcoast, he participated in the growth of that company from a small FBO and Repair Station to that of a major Completion Center. Mr. Georgian was involved in design of new interior components, major repairs and supervision of engineering staff. He left Midcoast at the end of 1991 to start Georgian Aerospace Group, Inc. Mr. Georgian can approve repairs and modifications to all forms of civilian aircraft.
Tom Montgomery, Electrical Systems DER:
Mr. Montgomery graduated from Southern Illinois University - Edwardsville in March of 1984, with a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering. He obtained his Consultant Electrical Systems DER in December, 2005. He joined Georgian Aerospace in January of 2006. Mr. Montgomery can approve modifications to all forms of transport category aircraft.
Joel R. Simansky, P.E., Senior Aerospace Engineer and Structures DER:
Mr. Simansky graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in 1988, with a B.S. degree in Aeronautical/Astronautical Engineering. He is a registered Professional Engineer in the state of Missouri. His extensive background includes work with General Dynamics, Fort Worth Division, Bede Aircraft Corporation and Tracor Flight Systems, Inc. He joined Georgian Aerospace in July of 1998. He obtained his DER in June of 2007. Mr. Simansky can approve repairs and modifications to all forms of civilian aircraft and rotorcraft.
