Seeking Experienced Structural Design Engineer

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience in structural design, engineering, and analysis of aircraft components. We generate repairs and modifications to all types of aircraft elements, so the candidate should have experience dealing with the entire vehicle. This experience shall include: generating final drawings on a CAD system, FEM (NASTRAN experience is preferred) and hand analysis for structural adequacy, and generating structural adequacy reports. The candidate must have an understanding of how to determine loads in aircraft components, and be able to visualize load paths through aircraft structures. Metals and composite experience is desired. The candidate must have good communication skills, and be able to collaborate with shop technicians to develop workable installations. The candidate should enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
